• What happens after I send my enquiry?

  You'll get an acknowledgement email straight away with your reference. One of the family team will then phone or email you, usually within one working day, to agree the exact time. Once that's set we send a second email confirming the agreed slot — and a calendar invite or video link if relevant.
• How long does an appointment usually last?

  A first design or upgrade conversation is usually 45 minutes to an hour. Valuations of up to ten items take around 45 minutes. Diamond-viewing appointments are 30 to 60 minutes depending on how many stones you'd like to see. We'll set aside the right amount of time once we've spoken.
• What should I bring with me?

  Any pieces you'd like us to look at, value or rework — together with previous valuations, certificates or insurance documents if you have them. For a bespoke design, ring sizes, inspiration photos and a rough budget are all useful but not essential. Photo ID is appreciated for collections or higher-value items.
• Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

  Our regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:45am – 5:00pm, and most appointments sit inside those hours. For bespoke design or diamond consultations we can sometimes open a little earlier or stay slightly later by arrangement — just say so in the notes. We're closed on Sundays.
• Where do I park?

  7 Murray Place sits in central Stirling. The closest car parks are Thistles Shopping Centre (about a 3-minute walk) and the Goosecroft Road multi-storey. On-street pay-and-display bays run along Murray Place and Maxwell Place. Stirling railway station is also a 5-minute walk away.
• Is there a charge to come in?

  No. There's no charge for a consultation, valuation appointment or design conversation. Insurance valuations themselves are a paid service — we'll quote you up-front before any work begins.
• Can I bring more than one piece for valuation?

  Yes — a valuation appointment covers up to ten items. If you have a larger collection, mention it in the enquiry and we'll set aside extra time.
• I just need a ring re-sized or a repair — do I need to book?

  No. Re-sizing, repairs and watch batteries are walk-in only — just pop into 7 Murray Place during opening hours and one of the team will take a look. Many jobs are done while you wait.
• Can we meet by video call instead?

  Yes — bespoke design, diamond sourcing and upgrade conversations all work well over a video call. Choose 'Online video call' on the form and we'll email you a meeting link before your appointment.
• What if neither of my preferred times works?

  We'll come back with two or three alternatives by email so you can pick the one that suits — or just give us a quick call and we'll find a time together.
• Can I change or cancel after I've sent the enquiry?

  Of course. Just reply to the acknowledgement email, or call us on 01786 473696, and we'll update or withdraw your enquiry — no need to do anything else.
