Book an appointmentWhat a Wedfit ring is
A Wedfit (or shaped) wedding band is cut and contoured so it sits flush against the engagement ring instead of leaving a visible gap. The two rings sit and wear as a single unit, and the engagement ring no longer rotates or rocks on the finger.
Most halo, raised-shoulder, scalloped and offset engagement rings benefit from a shaped band. If your engagement ring is a plain solitaire or has a low, flat profile, a straight band may work — we'll advise honestly when we see the ring.
How we make yours
Bring your engagement ring in and we'll take a precise impression of the profile. From that we draw, model and cut a band that follows the curve exactly — whether that is a bespoke manufacture or one of the thousands of ready-made rings we can source and adjust.
Bands are made or sourced in platinum and gold (18ct white, yellow or rose), with or without diamonds, and finished to match your engagement ring's surface texture — high polish, brushed, or milgrain.
For a fully bespoke band allow four to eight weeks from final approval through to a hallmarked piece — call us early if you have a wedding date to work back from.
Already wear another jeweller's engagement ring?
Not a problem at all — Ian Gallacher will design a wedding band to fit a ring bought elsewhere. We just need the original ring with us in the workshop while we make and check the fit.
