Trade-In Programme

Upgrade your diamond.

Tastes change. Anniversaries arrive. Diamonds bought from us — and many bought elsewhere — can be traded in against a larger stone or a new piece, with a fair valuation against today's value.

How upgrades work

Step one: bring your existing piece into the showroom. We'll examine and grade the centre stone (and any side stones), check the metal and weigh the piece, and give you a transparent trade-in valuation against today's diamond and metal market.

Step two: that valuation becomes credit against any new piece in the showroom — a larger centre stone, a different setting style, or an entirely new piece designed bespoke. There's no obligation to commit on the day.

Step three: we re-set, re-design or re-sell as appropriate, and your new piece is hand-finished in our workshop ready for collection.

What we accept

Diamond rings, pendants and earrings of any age — including pieces originally bought elsewhere — provided the centre stone is 0.30ct or larger and the piece is in re-saleable or recoverable condition.

We can also trade in scrap gold, broken chains and inherited pieces you don't wear against the cost of a new commission.

Lab-grown diamonds, gemstone-only pieces and watches: we'll consider on a case-by-case basis — just bring the piece in.

Where to start

There's no obligation and no charge for an upgrade valuation. Pop into the showroom and one of the team will assess your piece while you wait, or call ahead to arrange a private appointment.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

How does a diamond trade-in work?
Bring your existing piece in and we'll grade the centre stone, check the metal and weigh it, then give you a transparent trade-in valuation. That valuation becomes credit against any new piece in the showroom.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Pop in for a free, no-obligation upgrade valuation while you wait, or call ahead if you'd prefer to arrange a private appointment.
What do you accept for trade-in?
Diamond rings, pendants and earrings with a centre stone of 0.30ct or larger — including pieces bought elsewhere — plus scrap gold, broken chains and inherited pieces you no longer wear.
Can I trade in jewellery bought from another jeweller?
Yes. We accept diamond pieces of any age regardless of where they were originally bought, provided the centre stone is 0.30ct or larger and the piece is in re-saleable or recoverable condition.
Is there a charge for an upgrade valuation?
No. Upgrade valuations are completely free and there's no obligation to commit on the day.
