Near Edinburgh

An independent jeweller, near Edinburgh.

Forty-five minutes from Edinburgh city centre: family-run, with our own goldsmiths working on-site, and prices that aren't loaded with high-street overheads.

An independent jeweller, a short trip from Edinburgh

Ian Gallacher Jewellers is an independent, family-run boutique on Murray Place in central Stirling — around 45 minutes by car from Edinburgh, with our own goldsmiths working on-site. Customers travel to us from across the central belt because we offer something the chain stores can't: bespoke design, in-house workshop services, and diamonds bought direct from the cutters we know personally.

From Edinburgh, the M9 takes you straight to Stirling — junction 10 onto the A91, then five minutes into the town centre. The Thistles car park is two minutes' walk from the boutique. Direct trains from Edinburgh Waverley to Stirling station take around 50 minutes; we are a two-minute walk from the platform.

Why customers from Edinburgh make the trip

  • Bespoke jewellery design — most engagement-ring commissions cost less than a comparable off-the-peg piece on Edinburgh's Multrees Walk or George Street.
  • Certificated diamonds bought direct from the cutters in Antwerp, with no high-street markup.
  • On-site goldsmiths — re-sizing, repairs and stone-setting done in our own workshop, not sent away.
  • A genuine one-to-one consultation in a quiet boutique, not a queue at a chain store counter.
