Ian Gallacher Jewellers — Established 1973

Near Glasgow

Diamond jewellers, near Glasgow.

Around forty minutes from Glasgow city centre — independent, family-run, and one of the few jewellers in central Scotland with its own goldsmiths working on-site.

An independent jeweller, a short trip from Glasgow

Ian Gallacher Jewellers is an independent, family-run boutique on Murray Place in central Stirling — around 40 minutes by car from Glasgow, with our own goldsmiths working on-site. Customers travel to us from across the central belt because we offer something the chain stores can't: bespoke design, in-house workshop services, and diamonds bought direct from the cutters we know personally.

From Glasgow, the M80 connects to the M9 and brings you straight to junction 10 for Stirling — a clear run on motorway with parking at the Thistles two minutes from the boutique. Direct trains from Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling station take around 35 minutes.

Why customers from Glasgow make the trip

  • Certificated diamonds — GIA, IGI and HRD, from 0.30ct upwards, bought direct from the cutters in Antwerp.
  • Bespoke engagement-ring design with the master jeweller, from sketch through CAD to the finished hallmarked piece.
  • On-site workshop — re-sizing, settings, repairs and remodels handled in-house, often turned around within the week.
  • Independent and family-run — no commission-driven sales pressure, and the same people serve you on every visit.
